Years ago our team headed to happy hour after work and a teammate talked me into trying her favorite margarita that had some fruit flavor I didn’t bat an eye at (pomegranate? pear? I can’t remember) but then also had muddled jalapeños – the part I was a little skeptical about. Turns out I liked it enough for it to be my new favorite too. When I discovered Trader Joe’s had jalapeño limeade a few years back, a made at home version of it became my new go-to for summer weekend afternoons!

Now, my particular style of at home bartender is to disregard any rules (probably more for lack of knowing what they are than anything else) and to just throw together things and see if it tastes good. But this one has tequila and triple sec to stick with the basics though, then Simply brand peach juice, Trader Joe’s jalapeño limeade, and some lime slices. Wet the rim of the glass, dip it in a bowl of turbinado sugar, throw in a lot of ice, then get to mixing!

2 oz tequila

1 oz triple sec

2 oz Simply peach juice

2 oz Trader Joe’s jalapeño limeade
